The need for this site springs from my extensive experience helping friends, family and acquaintances with their questions. It's clear to me that the questions people ask are usually not unique to them, and so others could also benefit from these responses and advice. Rather than fire off an email in responding to a friend's plea for assistance, therefore, I have captured a selection of tips and pointers here in these forums. As more people discover this site and register (for free), my hope is that it will continue to be a source of help and information to others (whether registered or not).
