Scanning - with Image Capture

Did you know that Mac OS X comes with an app that works with most scanners? The Image Capture app lets you:

• scan an image
• transfer and delete images from your device
• take a photo

If you're having problems with the scanning software that came with your scanner or All-in-One Printer/Scanner, Image Capture can be a life saver. Be sure to read the Help article accessible from the Help menu when you're running Image Capture. Despite the app's somewhat dated icon image, it is a worthy addition to Mac OS X's collection of free tools.
