Use the Mac Finder's Help Center!
Where can you find the help you need without spending a penny?
What's the most under-used feature of Mac OS X? I don't know, but I would guess the built-in Help might be it. Mac OS X has a large amount of practical help in its built-in Help Center, accessible from the Help menu. Clicking on the Help menu in the Finder lets you type in key words or a phrase describing what you need help with and you instantly see a number of relevant topics. It's easy to browse through the many topics and by doing so you're very likely to come across all manner of explanations and shortcuts, you will wish you had known sooner!
